About Me
Originally from a farm in North Yorkshire, I now live in the picturesque village of Lymm in Cheshire. I find a lot of inspiration from nature when I am out walking my little dog.
I have been passionate about art and animals since I was very young, following art through school and art college. Then a few years ago I painted a portrait of my friend’s dog as a gift. She was so pleased with the painting, and to my surprise a flood of orders followed from other animal lovers. So I decided to start out as a professional artist, and I haven’t looked back since!
I enjoy working in a variety of mediums, from pencil, pastel, acrylic paint and mixed media. As well as animals I particularly love capturing nature, plants and flowers in my paintings, and I like to experiment with recycling various materials into collages.
